to a US airbase in northern Italy. Then flown to Egypt where he says he was

launched an investigation into a plot, to smuggle uranium from the Soviet Union
into Italy, after being tipped off by Scaramella. A tip off from Litvinenko
helped foil an assassination attempt in 2005 on Paolo Guzzanti, an Italian
senator who headed the Mitrokhin inquiry. In 2004 Scaramella led an
investigation on the illegal dumping of nuclear waste by the mafia in an

After Rome ignored an ultimatum to leave Iraq. Italian PM was Silvio
Berlisconi. We target all of Europe, a statement signed by the Abu Hafs
al-Masri brigades al-Qaeda organisation, posted on an Islamic website, expiry
on 15 July 2004, of the truce offer by bin Laden. In a statement on 15 August
2004 the group threatened to launch attacks throughout Italy and target
Berlisconi. Italy has 3,000 troops in Iraq.
24 August 2004 – Italy says it has no intention of
withdrawing its 3,000 troops from Iraq. Demands were made from kidnappers who
seized an Italian journalist. The government says it planned to secure the
released of the journalist, Enzo Baldoni, but the Italian presence in Iraq
would continue. PM Silvio Berlusconi’s office said, a group called the Islamic
army in Iraq said, its holding the journalist Enzo Baldoni, Diario magazine
driver was found dead near Najafi. He had been

Ecuador. A group of armed kidnappers, led by former members of Colombian terror
group, the Popular Liberation Army EPL. They took hostage ten employers of
Spanish energy consortium REPSOL. Those kidnapped included one New Zealander,
five US citizens, one Argentine, one Chilean and two French pilots, who escaped
four days later. On 30 January 2001 the kidnappers murdered American hostage
Ronald Sander. The remaining hostages were released on 23 February following
the payment of $13 million in ransom by the oil companies.

the Liberation movement of southern Sudan. It was headed by John Garang,
against the Arab Muslim regime in Khartoum.
1978 – In Sudan another BCCI branch was due to open. This
was unusual because every other bank in Sudan was nationalised.
1980 – A payoff to an African central banker Swaleh Naqvi
asked Akbar Bilgrami to take senior official from Sudan’s central bank on a
shopping trip at Harrods in London. BCCI paid more than $100,000. In return the
official put millions of dollars of Sudan’s foreign exchange reserves into
BCCI.
1989 – The leader of Sudan sent a delegation to Peshawar
Pakistan. Al-Qaeda Sudan relations.
Late 1989 to late 1991 – Bin Laden relocated al-Qaeda
infrastructure to Sudan. Most of al-Qaeda’s fighters moved to Sudan. (Inside

1993 – Sudan is placed on the State departments list of
countries that sponsor terrorist activities. Bin Laden’s followers try to get
components of nuclear weapons and begin to work with Sudan’s NIP to develop
chemical arms.
1993 – The Third World relief agency TWRA a Sudan based fake
humanitarian organisation. It was used as a go between for the suppliers and
fighters in Bosnia. TWRA had links with Islamists like Sheikh Omar Abdul
Rahman, the blind sheikh, involved in the 1993 WTC bombing and bin Laden.
1993 – Cofer Black transferred from London to Khartoum
Sudan. He arrived as the CIA station chief. Sudan’s government sponsored
terrorism and the US had imposed economic sanctions. A Muslim Brotherhood
inspired political party, called the National Islamic Front, led by Hasan
al-Turabi had taken power. Turabi proclaimed Solidarity with terrorists both
Socialist and Islamic. Hamas, Hezbollah, Egypt’s Islamic group, Algeria’s
Islamic Salvation Front, Carlos the Jackal and Osama bin Laden. (Ghost wars

May 1993 – Pakistan crackdown on Arab radicals in spring. So
bin Laden sent money to fly 480 of these Jihadists to Khartoum. They became
part of bin Laden’s businesses. Money went to Egyptian Islamists for printing
presses and weapons.
27 April 1993 – Declaration of Jihad against African
Sudanese. Fatma issued from Kordofan El Obeid. Quraishi M Tariq.
1994 – Four Arab veterans of the Afghan war tried to kill
bin Laden during 1994. The assassins opened fire inside a Khartoum mosque where
bin laden preached. They shot several worshippers dead before they realised

January 1994 – By this time bin Laden was financing at least
three terrorist training camps in north Sudan, where rebels from at least six
nations received training.
Late 1994 – bin Laden was working closely with the Sudanese
intelligence services, Sudanese intelligence were running paramilitary and
terrorist operations in Egypt and elsewhere. Bin Laden had access to Sudanese
military radios, weapons, and about 200 Sudanese passports. These passports
added to the false documents bin Laden had acquired for his aides, and for the
travel papers of Arab volunteers who were killed in the Afghan Jihad. Three

1995 – Using Iranian funds, al-Turabi of Sudan helped
Palestinian Islamic Jihad return to Israel where it carried out terror
operations. Hamas, Algerian Islamic Salvation Army fighters, Iranian revolutionary
guards, and al-Gama’at al-Islamiyya also relied on the government of Sudan. By
1995 half of the 3,000 Iranian revolutionary guards sent to Khartoum Sudan had
came from Lebanon, of these more than 1,000 were Lebanese Hezbollah. (American

1995 – Mugniyeh was flying back to Beirut from Sudan after a
meeting with bin Laden. The US arranged for his Middle East airways plane to
make a unscheduled stop in Saudi Arabia. But Saudi authorities refused to make
him leave the plane.
1995 – An FBI source was Jamal al-Fadl a Sudanese militant
who fled bin Laden’s circle after stealing a large sum of money from him in

17 August 1996 – Sudanese rebel kidnapping Sudan’s peoples
liberation army SPLA rebels kidnapped six missionaries in Mapourdit including a
US citizen, an Italian, three Australians and a Sudanese. The SPLA released the
hostages 11 days later.
Late 1990’s – al-Qaeda got uranium in Khartoum and hired
Egyptian and Pakistani physicists to research the development of unconventional
weapons.
1 November 1996 – Red Cross worker kidnappings in Sudan. A
breakaway group from the Sudanese people liberation army SPLA kidnapped three
international committee of the Red Cross ICRC workers. Including a US citizen,
an Australian and a Kenyan. On 9 December the rebels released the hostages in
exchange for ICRC supplies and a health survey for their camp.
20 August 1998 – US unleashes cruise missile strikes against
suspected terrorist installations in Sudan. In retaliation for the US embassy
attacks in Africa.
20 August 1998 – al Shifa a pharmaceutical plant in Khartoum
was tied to the production of chemical weapons for bin Laden. Cruise missile
attack in retaliation against bin Laden.
5-8 May 1998 – Contemporary government application of zakat
in Sudan. Seminar on contemporary applications of Islamic economics. Casablanca
Morocco. Abd al-Muem al-Gusi.
September 2001 – Mohamed Atta, who piloted a jet into the
WTC, wired money to bin Laden’s former paymaster in Sudan. Shaykh Said al-Masri

16 February 2007 – US appeals court upholds terrorist
designation for Islamic charity. A Federal appeals court upheld the US
government decision to freeze the assets of an Islamic charity, with alleged
links to a Sudanese group that supports terrorism. The Treasury department
claims that Islamic American relief agency USA is an affiliate of the Islamic
African relief agency. A Sudan based charity that US government says finances
al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups. The US court of appeals for the district
of Colombia agreed with a lower courts 2005 decision, saying the charity was a

1997 – During Albanian unrest 100,000 passports were stolen.
Interpol said they may be used to smuggle members of Islamist groups into
Europe. Weak states with low law enforcement are ideal grounds for smuggling.
1998 – Albania’s role in the Balkans, when Osama bin Laden
and Iranian revolutionary guards signed a deal to use Albania and Kosovo for
armed attacks in Europe. Iranian
involvement in Albania dates back to 1997. Robbery, terrorism, drug smuggling,
kidnapping. Sex slavery and trafficking were sources of income. Mohsen Nurbakan
governor of the Iranian central bank told domestic banks to invest in Albania.
Iranian banks were a source of hard currency in Albania.
1998-99 – Defendants in the 1999 trial in Cairo against the
Islamic Jihad, Egyptian terror group, provided insights into the Arab Afghan
network in Albania. Most of them were employed by Islamic charities in Tirana.
Shawki Salama Mustafa was the Egyptian who headed al-Qaeda’s Albanian cell. He
ran a racket in Tirana forging identities, passports and birth certificates,
which he learned in 1994 in Sudan. Forgery business. Ahmed Ibrahim al-Sayed
al-Naggar, the Jihad member tied to bin Laden in Albania, smuggling arms and
drugs into Europe. They established business ventures with the Italian
mafia, which took responsibility for sale and distribution of drugs.
Albania became a transhipment point in the drug route from Afghanistan to
Europe.
20 November 2001 – CIA backed team used brutal means to

2 April 1860 – The first Italian Parliament met at Turin.
Italy was unified. The Rothschild banking empire bankrolled Italy’s

October 1944 – March 1945 – The Nazis were facing defeat in
Europe as the Allies pushed towards victory. Angleton was transferred to Rome
Italy as the commanding officer off special counter intelligence unit 2. A
detachment of US and UK personell,
activated towards
the end of the war to arrest enemy agents. In March 1945 he was promoted to
first lieutenant and made chief of X-2 for all of Italy. At age 27 he was the
youngest X-2 branch chief in all of OSS. He was the only American in Italy
cleared to share the intelligence secrets of the top secret Ultra. Allied
victory in Europe in May 1945.
November 1945 – With 1,771,000 members in Italy by the end

NSC 4/A ordered Admiral Roscoe Hillenkoeter, the new director of the CIA to use

Ladas when they went for export. Rolling out of a factory called Togliatti in

journalist Valya Kovanoiv in Italy. Leonid Sergeyevich Kolosov was a KGB agent

1962-66 – A deal between Italy and the Soviet Union whereby
Fiat helped them build a giant car factory on the river Volga at a place called
Togliatti, after the Italian Communist party leader Palmiro Togliatti. In 1962 Mario Alicata was editor of the
Communist newspaper Unita. In 1963 the left was led by Enrico Berlinguer who
seized power in Italy. The US had military bases in Italy. Building an auto
plant to produce cheap cars for the Soviet market. Fiat was the Soviet
governments partner. In spring 1966 a study of Fiat by Soviet journalist
Marietta Shaginyan .Villorio Valetta was general director of Fiat in Italy. A

October 1962 – The death of Enrico Mattei the president of
the National oil company Ente Nazionale Idrocarburi ENI in Sicily Italy.

October 1962 – At the beginning of the 1960’s countries
benefiting from the Marshall plan were banned from supplying certain goods to
the Soviet Union. Drilling equipment for oil and gas, and pipes to carry fuel.
Enrico Mattei supplied pipes in exchange for Soviet gas. He had plans to supply
the Soviet Union with more equipment in exchange for Soviet oil. In 1967 a
journalist from local paper Ora said Mauro de Mauro was investigating the

July 1964 – 76 – Prosecutor general Villorio Occorsio said
the there was a plot code named Piano Solo, to seize power in Italy. Many
people who knew about Piano Solo died unnatural deaths. Found shot or were
involved in suspicious car accidents. Occorsio was murdered in 1976. Nicola
Gentile died in December 1964 of a heart attack in Sicily. (Undercover lives

23 July 1968 – El Al airliner from Rome to Tel Aviv was
hijacked to Algiers. The hostages were held for five weeks then released in
return for two Palestinians, one Syrian hijacker and 16 prisoners.
29 August 1969 – TWA flight 840 from Rome to Athens was
hijacked to Damascus it was destroyed after the hostages were freed. Injuries
unknown.
August 1972 – El Al Rome baggage car bomb.
16 August 1972 – El Al flight Rome to Tel Aviv bomb in
luggage compartment. Two suspects were arrested in Rome then freed.
4 April 1973 – Attack on an El Al plane at Rome was foiled.
Two people were arrested and deported to Lebanon.
27 April 1973 – A civilian clerk was murdered at an El Al
desk at Rome airport by Palestinians.
17 June 1973 – A car bomb exploded near Rome El Al desk. Two
Arabs were injured and freed without trial.
5 September 1973 – A planned missile attack at Rome airport
was foiled. Five Palestinians were arrested. Two were released on bail with no
show for trial.
17 December 1973 – Rome airport attack and hijacking. Five
attackers hit a Pan Am 707 with grenades. They herded five Italian hostages
into a Lufthansa airliner and killed an Italian customs agent, then forced the
plane to fly to Beirut.
17 December 1973 – Attack and hijack at Rome airport. Five
terrorists pulled weapons from their luggage in the terminal building, killing
two people. Then they attacked a Pan Am 707 bound for Beirut and Tehran,
destroying it with grenades and killing 29 people, including four senior
Moroccan officials and 14 American employees of Aramco. Then they herded five
Italian hostages into a Lufthansa airliner and killed an Italian customs agent
as he tried to escape. Then they forced the pilot to fly to Beirut. No group
claimed responsibility.
1976 – Soviet defector Golitsyn’s daughter died of a drug
overdose in Italy.
1978 – The Italian red brigades kidnapped and murdered the
former Italian PM Aldo Moro. Their financial manager was Giuseppe Alessandrini,
a businessman. Nicola Gentile was a mafia KGB in Italy who had lived in the US.

shoot and almost kill the Pope in St Peters square on 13 May 1981. Agca had

7 October 1985 – Achille Lauro hijacking. Four Palestinian
liberation front terrorists seized the Italian cruise liner in the eastern
Mediterranean sea. They took more than 700 hostages. One US passenger was
killed before the Egyptian government offered the terrorists safe haven in
return for the hostages freedom. One person was killed and three others
wounded. The CIA linked these terrorist acts to Libya.
27 December 1985 – Airports in Rome and Vienna were
attacked. Five Americans were among those who died. The CIA linked these

27 December 1985 – Airport attacks in Rome and Vienna. Four
gunmen belonging to the Abu Nidal organisation attacked the El Al and TWA
ticket counters at Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci airport with grenades and automatic
rifles. Thirteen people were killed and 75 wounded before Italian police and
Israeli security guards killed three of the gunmen and captured the fourth.
